Recovering from Incorrect Register Readings

If you’ve encountered an incorrect register reading on your Subeca device, this article provides step by step instructions to update the register value through the Subeca mobile app.

Step by Step Guide to Correct Register Reading 

Step 1: Calculate the New Register Value

Determine the correct register value for the device to ensure the updated reading is accurate when you re-claim the device. 

 

Step 2: Open the Subeca Mobile App

Launch the Subeca mobile app on your smartphone, making sure you are signed in as the tenant or utility associated with the device you want to update. 

 

Step 3: Select “New Device Installation” 

From the main menu, choose “Install New Device” This allows you to make changes to an existing device’s configuration.

 

Step 4: Choose the Same Account as the Existing Device 

Make sure you select the same account that is associated with the device you are re-claiming. 

 

Step 5: Re-Claim the Device with the Correct Register Value 

Follow the New Device Installation workflow, and when prompted to enter the new register value, input the corrected value identified in Step 1. Make sure you select the proper unit measurement.
